Need For Speed: No Limits Gameplay Teased

Everyone wants a new Need for Speed to bring back the atmosphere from the Underground series or the one from the first Most Wanted. Well, the upcoming NFS: No Limits brings both of them apparently but there’s a slight problem... it’s a smartphone/tablet game!

The same studio that brought us the Real Racing series will now bring the insane arcade-style gameplay back on hand held devices through a new Need for Speed title.

There’s close to no details on the new racing game apart from what you can see in the video - hot cars, including the Toyota GT 86, the new Ford Mustang and the BMW M4 (wrapped in the classic NFS Most Wanted blue-silver livery), tons of upgrades, body kits (yes, Rocket Bunny for the GT 86 is included) and insane speed.

Can’t say if No Limits will be an open world arcade racing game, but we do know EA wants to make it free to play, probably following the same in-game micro-transactions system from Real Racing 3.

The game was first mentioned along with Ken Block’s Gymkhana 7 as part of a sticker on his Mustang Hoonicorn, but the “No Limits” trademark was registered by Electronic Arts since 2010. The title has been officially announced last year on November 20th. There’s still no release date so we’ll just have to wait a bit more.
