L.A. Lakers’ power forward Carlos Boozer new Mercedes-Benz S 550 just got out of the shop, after it went through some custom preparations. Apart from the exterior improvements, what we really love about the ride’s new face is the interior. Done at Miami-based Auto Firm, it got the Snow White Avorza Custom Interior, one that really makes it look worthy of Outkast’s song, “So Fresh, So Clean.”
It seems like changing teams is not that bad for this fellow. Even though most of his fans know Carlos Boozer as Chicago Bulls’ player, on July 15 he was released by the team via the amnesty clause. Two days later, the Lakers claimed off waivers and will pay $3.25 million of his $16.8 million salary, while the Bulls will pay the remaining. With that amount of money, it’s pretty obvious you can’t just drive normal cars.
Wait, what normal cars? After all, we’re talking about a $94,400 Mercedes here, and that is just the starting price. Point is, this was far from being enough for Boozer, so he took it to the “custom land.” The interior finished in white is hand crafted, while the exterior comes with color keyed, gloss black accents. Add up the Avorza AV30 forged wheels and you get the whole picture.
Maybe you’re not really the white interior type of person, but you’ll have to admit it does give some proper character to the car. Just take a look at the clip below and decide it on your own.
