He won the Sprint Cup championship four times and the Daytona 500 three times, making it third on the all-time Cup wins list. As of 2009, he became the first NASCAR driver to reach $100 million in winnings. In other words, there’s not a lot of places he could still aim at. No, the time has come to give some of that success back and that’s exactly what Jeff Gordon is doing with this 2015 C7 Corvette.
It was this January he announced that this is the last year he’d still race as a full-time driver. These days, Gordon is quite focused on the Children’s Foundation he established back in 1999 that supports children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses.

This January the 1999 Pepsi Chevrolet Monte Carlo, in which Jeff Gordon and Ray Evernham recorded their last victory as a driver-crew chief pairing, went under the hammer. Auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson the collectable reached a stunning $500,000 price and all the benefits are going straight to Jeff Gordon’s charity.

After having a C7 Corvette Stingray also going on sale last year, the racing legend has decided to offer his 2015 C7 Corvette convertible to the same cause. Only 7,500 tickets will be sold at a price of $100, this gives each ticket buyer a good shot at winning the car.

Federal taxes will also be covered for the winner. Like he did with the Chevrolet, Gordon will personally hand the keys over to the winner himself. The raffle begun October 23, last year and ends September 28 this year.
