Nascar Daytona 500: Team Chevy's 2010 Program for Fans

{img align=left}The Team Chevy 2010 has prepared a special experience for the public visiting Daytona International Speedway which hosts the NASCAR season-opening round this weekend.

The racing fans will be given the possibility to experience the Team Chevy Racing Display for a Victory Lane photo, can inquire about the team’s drivers (including Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart) about their favorite subjects and sign up for test-drive with a vehicle form the current Chevrolet line-up.

The Team Chevy Racing Display, which also features a children-dedicated area, is located just outside the main gate at Daytona International Speedway and will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday.

The moderated question-and-answer sessions will be held at the Team Chevy Stage Display, next to the Team Chevy Racing Display. Here’s the event’s schedule:

Drivers appearing Friday: Tony Stewart (10:30 a.m.), Juan Pablo Montoya (11:15 a.m.), John Wes Townley (11:30 a.m.), Clint Bowyer (12 p.m.) and Austin Dillon (2:45 p.m.). Appearing Saturday will be Ryan Newman (9 a.m.), Jeff Gordon (9:15 a.m.) and Jimmie Johnson (9:30 a.m.). Finally, appearing Sunday will be Jeff Burton (9:10 a.m.) and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (10:15 a.m.).

The Chevy Camaro will be found among the test vehicles fleet for the Team Chevy Test Drive, which allows fans to test the cars on the Superstrech, located behind Daytona International Speedway’s backstretch. The pre-registrations for the Team Chevy Test Drive can be made online or onsite. The program will be available from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday.
