Napster is now available in BMWs worldwide thanks to ConnectedDrive’s Online Entertainment feature, announced the German company today.
The new service allows you to directly access a wide variety of music and spoke content, covering every possible genre, from rock to jazz and even dubstep, not to mention the audiobooks.
Of course, for it to work, you’ll need to use the car’s built-in SIM card that is available with the BMW Navigation System Professional and the ConnectedDrive Services.
Using the Online Entertainment feature is easy, users being able to open an account simply by entering their e-mail address. This will be the second service that allows you to listen to music directly from the internet, without using your smartphone, after a similar collaboration was announced earlier this year, involving European provider, Rara.
With Napster, the process is similar, each track being downloaded on a hard-drive inside your car, once you listen to it, so that you can also enjoy it later. The number of songs you can download is unlimited. For more info, check out the press release posted below.
