Naomi for Haiti Lotus Evora, Five Cars Left

The joint effort made by British carmaker Lotus and former supermodel Naomi Campbell to sell eight special edition “Naomi for Haiti” Lotus Evora sports cars for the sake of the Haiti relief effort is going extremely well apparently, as the carmaker announced there are now only five vehicles left.

The first was sold, as we already told you, for £320,000 during last Thursday’s Fashion for Relief catwalk show. The second and the third vehicles, who also went under the hammer that night, managed to raise an extra £460,000.

This week, Naomi Campbell visited the Lotus HQ to meet the designers and production teams responsible for bringing the special cars to life.

“I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has generously donated their time and effort to make Fashion For Relief happen.  I’m thrilled with the support from Lotus and to have teamed up with my great friend Gino Rosato for this important cause. I hope we continue to raise awareness and as many funds as we can,” Campbell said in a release.

“Lotus is honoured to work with Naomi on this extremely important campaign for Haiti.  I am so proud of the efforts the Lotus people have gone to
to ensure Lotus can contribute to the Fashion for Relief charity and support those in need and distress,"
Dany Bahar, Lotus CEO added.

"Naomi’s visit has had a great impact on the workforce who were thrilled to see such a high profile celebrity contribute her time to charity, just as they themselves have done.”

The special edition Evoras are the work of Lotus Design Director Donato Coco, while also reflecting Naomi’s design direction. It combines the flag of Haiti with a special color scheme and feature a range of items that are meant to make these cars collector items.
