Kawasaki has confirmed our suppositions on their "mystery" bike: it's a new, updated Z1000, which will be showed to the public on 5 November at the upcoming 2013 EICMA show in Milan, Italy.
The design of the bike is said to have started from a "clean sheet", and follow closely the Japanese Sugomi concept. Sugomi stands for "the intense aura or energy given off by a person or object of greatness and felt by the viewer."
According to Keishi Fukumoto, Head of Motorcycle Design for Kawasaki the new Z1000 will be a Supernaked, awe-inspiring machine, with centralized mass and an extremely compact attire, dripping with unbridled energy.
Now, taking a look at the first official pictures of the new KTM 1290 Super Duke R and then looking back at the new Z1000'profile, I may start to see a new trend in beastly bikes. Which is better than good: it's Sugomi-good!
