MX Stars at Carol Nash Motorcycle Live

The eighth day of Carole Nash Motorcycle Live was dedicated to off-roading, as MX riders from across the world arrived at the show, joined by a whole host of road racing stars. Reigning British MX1 Champion and Honda rider Evgeny Bobryshev made an appearance along with British MX2 Champion and Yamaha rider Zach Osborne.

Also at the event were Kawasaki’s World MX1 contender Sebastien Pourcel and MX2 racer Max Anstie, as well as KTM’s World MX2 rider Jake Nicholls.

Former World Superbike Champions James Toseland and Troy Corser and BMW SBK rider Leon Haslam spent the day at the event, as did father and son racing duo Randy and Dakota Mamola.

Honda took the opportunity to launch its all-new MX1 rider line-up with riders Evgeny Bobryshev and Rui Goncalves. “It’s great to be here to meet the fans who’ve been supporting me all season in the British races,” said Bobryshev. “I’m really looking forward to 2011 and competing on the world stage with Honda.”

In addition to that, off-road fans also had the chance to try the discipline themselves at the Yamaha Off-Road Experience in the T+MX and DBR Off-Road Zone.

“Today has been a full celebration of the world of off-road. We were very happy to welcome Honda for the launch of their new World MX team and to have the MX riders present. The world of two-wheels is so incredibly varied and I’m just glad we have been able to acknowledge and celebrate the off-road sector,”
Managing Director of Event organisers MCI Exhibitions Finlay McAllan said in the eighth day of the show.
