With its soft ride, somewhat feminine looks anemic power offering, if there was ever a sportscar that needed a bit of TLC from a tuning company, it's the Z4. Thankfully, MWDesign Technik have managed to fix all of these issues with their Z4 E89 “White Flame” project.

This one-off follows from where the customizing company’s highly successful black and lime green “Slingshot” project left off, adding a bit of extra texture with new materials, colors and specific custom parts.

“A long time friend and client of ours liked our golf club inspired concept of the Slingshot Z4 project and requested that we base his brand new 2011 Alpine White/Coral Red Z4 off the unreleased at the time Taylormade R-11 golf club,”
states MWDesign Technik’s press release.

The white, red and gray theme was worked into both the outside and the inside of he car, in order to capture the spirit of the R-11 driver club. The Z4’s looks are enhanced by the addition of a front lip spoiler from 3D Design in Japan and a factory M-sport 3.5is diffuser. The sportscar now sits on a set of classically styled, stepped lip 20-inch alloy wheels from Forgestar. The rubber was supplied by Toyo Tires who provided a set of Toyo T1-R in 245/30/20 F 285/25/20 R configurations.

Meanwhile, performance enhancements come in the form of a Milltek 2×100mm Catback Exhaust System and a new Stage II ECU map from Dinan, which boosts an output to 400 hp. As for the stopping power, it is provided by some OEM BMW Performance big brakes.
