MV Design Presents Scion Kogi xD Mobile Kitchen

SEMA got weirder and weirder as MV Designs presented its mobile kitchen for barbecue enthusiasts. Nobody announced anything about the show cars’ whereabouts or how such an idea came to life, probably because none of this is clear to anybody at MV Designs.

In order to make enough room for the transformation, the rear sits have been taken out to install a fridge incorporated into the left rear door, an ice chest and sink fitted to the right rear door. In the back, the barbecue grille comes out automatically and will allow a neighborhood cookout with burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken or sweetcorn.

Everything gets cooked in front of a 10 inch monitor where the cook can play his favorite rap videos so he won’t get bored. Utensils can be found in the left tail light and condiments are hidden in the right tail light.

The Scion xD has got a body kit made of MV Designz front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts and hood. The car has a new suspension made of TEIN coilover kit and brand new 19 inch 3-piece DPE S7 wheels with Nitto Invos tires.

For those of you which are not familiar with the US auto brands, Scion is a marque of vehicles produced by Toyota Motor Corporation for the North American market. Founded in 2002, Scion's long-term goal is to appeal to Generation Y consumers. The xD premiered in 2008 as a successor to the xA. Scion marque expanded to Canada in 2009.
