MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine Looks Like a Mix of Happiness

Being one of the coolest looking super sport bikes with a retro design, you’d think that the MV Agusta Superveloce doesn’t need too many incentives to find a fair share of customers.

Truth be told, it doesn’t, but that hasn’t stopped the Italian motorcycle manufacturer from customizing the Superveloce even more in recent months.

The Superveloce 75 Anniversario limited edition, for example, was created to honor MV Agusta’s 75th birthday, and the entire run was sold out in less than 24 hours.

We are curious to see how fast will the next limited-edition Superveloce sell, though, as this time MV Agusta has decided to team up with none other than Alpine, the French sports and race car maker that is making a return to Formula 1 next year.

Only 110 units of the MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine limited-edition bike will be manufactured, all of them sporting a stunning blue livery inspired by the Alpine A110 sports car.

Many Alpine customers are also big MV Agusta fans, and vice-versa. The Superveloce Alpine will ideally bring the two worlds together, with incredible synergies in terms of design, personality and style. We look forward to this collaboration with one of the most admired brands in the history of motorsport, and are confident that this new, superb limited edition will be met with enthusiasm by bikers and motorsport fans around the world,” said Timur Sardarov, CEO MV Agusta Motor S.p.A.

Apart from the French blue livery, the bike also features black Alcantara seats with blue stitching and CNC-machined black wheels, while both the French and Italian flags are proudly displayed on either side of the front fender to signal the collaboration on both sides of the street.

The Superveloce Alpine is powered by an inline 3-cylinder engine that delivers a healthy 147 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and can help the bike reach a top speed of over 240 kph (149 mph).

The limited-edition bike will be distributed through MV Agusta’s dealer network and it costs a pretty €36,300 (approximately $44,000 at current exchange rates) in the Italian market.
