With MV Agusta deep in the "motorcycle art" as the Italians proudly describe themselves, the new bike concept is nothing short of a most promising endeavor.
The new project seems to go the futuristic way, with a really skinny profile and very clean architecture, able to underline what's to display and leave the rest behind. The massive rear wheel with a Diavel-ish approach makes the Rivale look even skinnier and possibly swifter.
The impression of lightweight brutality is probably enhanced by the compact 3-way exhaust in the vein of MV Agusta's current Brutale 675 or F3 series. This design choice again leaves the rear of the bike extremely clean and looking as sporty as it gets.
The Rivale seems to be a rather nice marriage between the hypermotard and the streetfighter breeds, and the final, real-life result may very well be another winner.
One thing is sure with almost any bike bearing the MV Agusta badge: they look awesome and sport an unique character which makes them some of the most coveted beasts you can run into.
