Sweet news for the MV Agusta fans, as some of them who are lucky enough will get the chance to throw a leg over the all-new Rivale 800 machinery during two very special days at the end of October. That is, MV Agusta anticipates the public release of the bike with an "Open Day" event on October 26-27.
Specially-selected MV Agusta dealerships across the whole Europe will receive the Rivale 800 and will book road tests with the new bike.
If you're not sure whether you should hurry up to sign in for a street test with the Rivale 800, here are some tech facts which should make your fingers itch really fast.
First of all you're looking at a bike laden with MotoGP solutions, boasting a hybrid lightweight construction, using steel tubing for the front, light aluminium plates in the mid-ship and a single-sided swingarm, all improving handling to deliver a reassuring feel.
The 3-cylinder engine packs 124 HP and weighs in at only 52 kg (115 lbs), with the MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) platform coordinating the new 4th generation engine mapping system, ride by wire and traction control.
The Electronically Assisted Shift MV Agusta Rivale 800 will be soon available for €12,690 ($17,198).
