MV Agusta announces that their new F4 range machines will get the new Bosch ABS unit, in an effort to increase the pleasure of riding and the road safety standards for these supersport bikes.
The MV Agusta F4 will be equipped with the Bosh 9MPlus ABS, a lightweight an compact unit with little impact on the weight distribution and will also sport the RLM system (anti-rear wheel lift). This system compensates for the deceleration causing the bike to dive and the rear wheel to occasionally lose grip.
The ABS will be available with two selectable modes: Normal, which is to be used during casual riding and which will provide effective intervention at all times and the Race mode, limiting the assistance to the minimum indispensable and allowing the ride to operate the F4 in more extreme ways.
The ABS system on the new MV Agusta F4 can be switched off by the rider. No word on whether the ABS is optional and pricing yet, but we'll dig deeper and let you know.
