Cluzel rode an F3 675 for the MV Agusta Reparto Corse – Yakhnich team, and despite the fact that he started 14th on the grid, he managed to make his way up the field.

Eight laps into the race, the red flag was waved as oil leaked from Jack Kennedy's Honda, and the remainder 5 laps saw a brutal battle between lo less than 5 riders.

In the Superbike races, Claudio Corti finished 13th and 18th, leaving much room for improvement in the SBK-version of the MV Agusta F4 RR.
