MV Agusta Heats Tires for 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed

Visitors to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed will also be treated to a special exhibition trailer from one of the most exclusive motorcycle brands today, the MV Agusta. Aside from some of the brand’s most desirable machines, the Italian manufacture will also have a range of official MV Agusta apparel to view and buy during the day.

The brand, which will be present at the event between July 2-4, also announced that MV legend and 15-time Grand Prix World Champion, Giacomo Agostini will be holding autograph sessions in its stand.

Getting back to the two-wheeled attractions that will be brought by the British division of MV Agusta to the event, the 2010 F4 superbike, the Brutale 990R and 1090RR along with the very exclusive F4CC will be on display there.

Taken separately, the two Brutale models feature the same aggressive design of their predecessors. The two naked bikes are reportedly 85 percent new and come with a new rear shock (20mm more travel) and traction control fitted as standard. Moreover, they have a new seat to improve rider comfort and the motor gets a new lubrication system, new electronics and two switchable ignition maps.

Unveiled at the 2009 EICMA show in Milan, the 2010 MV Agusta F4 has been completely redesigned and reengineered, now boasting a new 186 hp in line 998cc 4-cylinder engine complete with twin shower fuel injectors assisting each cylinder, as well as other innovative technical features. Styling enhancements confirm it as one of the most sought after motorcycles in the world.

Finally, the F4CC superbike which has its initials from Claudio Castiglioni, the company’s Managing Director, is only available in a limited run of 100 units. The bike also comes with a limited edition Swiss made chronograph by Girard Perregaux (only 100 produced) together with an exclusive limited edition leather jacket by top Italian designer Trussardi and a boxed certificate of origin.

So, if chances to see a F4 CC taking on the streets are extremely low, you could get to see one up close at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
