MV Agusta's most recent press release expresses their positive experience in the first SuperSport race of the 2013 at Phillip Island in Australia.
The Italian manufacturer is extremely pleased with the performance the new F3 675 machine showed during the race. ParkinGO Team rider Roberto Rodolfo put u[p a great battle for the top 5 positions, but had to retire only 2 laps before the end of the race due to the excessive blistering on the rear tire, rendering the bike hazardous under severe racing conditions.
Despite not having finished the race, MV Agusta has gathered extensive data on the bike's performance right form the racing debut, proving that the initial development steps have beem taken in the right direction.
The F3 675 also performed very well in the South African Supersport Championship, with the Liqui Moly riders Cam Peterson and Brent Harran, with two first and third place finishes. So we might look at a very competitive new WSS beast, making things even hotter in this business... and that's good.
