A fresh return to World Superbike racing, MV Agusta and Russian team Yakhnich Motorsport are happy with their testing so far. With a lot of work still ahead, the tests at Phillip Island have turned out promising results.
With former MotoGP rider Claiudio Corti, MV Agusta was 14th in the WSBK class, 2.3 adrift from the leader Eugene Laverty. Still, both Corti and the team are happy, because they seem to slowly find out more on the bike behavior and are confident future results will see better performance.

The Supersport program is significantly better, with Russian rider Vladimir Leonov and French Jules Cluzel being in the top five. Cluzel says he felt some weird vibrations on his bike and still hasn't found the reason, but things are going the right way overall.

MV Agusta's top bike is the F4 RR in the EVO class, consistently being the third fastest one.

It looks like the Varese manufacturer is "back for vengeance", and even if the expectations for the first year cannot be sky-high, we might see the battle WSBK classes grow fiercer.
