Mustang Shelby GT500 Crashed at Track Event

The 2009 Detroit Auto show witnessed the first appearance of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, and we knew there would be at least one European buyer wanting to enjoy a simple, american 5.4-liter supercharged V8 with 540 horsepower. Certainly, the press bumf would have us believe this is a sportscar for the track, a racing pony to triumph over those silly Lotus and Porsche owners with their stupid lightweight cars.
But it’s not. Show it some corners and this happens. Mind you, everybody knows about the rudimentary leaf spring rear suspension setup and the problems the rear axles would cause at the track. But this owner must have shrugged it off and continued with his petrol consumption.

This green GT500 was crashed at Granturismo Events 2012 at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, according to Youtube jorrie2. It now looks like a sad, green monster leaking its fluids all over the place.
