About two months ago we’ve introduced you to the awesome 1956 Ford F-100 Snakebit, a Mustang-inspired pickup truck commissioned by Kiss bass player Gene Simmons and his wife, Shannon Tweed.
As we reported when the bespoke vehicle was unveiled at the 2013 SEMA Show, the Shelby-faced truck will be auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale 2014 sale next week, with all proceeds to benefit the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
As a reminder, the truck comes in a custom PPG Enviro Ford GT Tungsten Gray metallic body color and sports a two tone leather interior with Classic gauges. Behind the Mustang-inspired front grille lies a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine built by Ford Racing that sends 550 HP via a six-speed manual transmission.
Other highlights include a stretched wheelbase, Shelby-inspired wheels, front and rear billet grills, bezels, trim pieces and billet machined bed floor to simulate wood.
