As the world gets crazier, it looks like dashboard or helmet cameras are becoming one of the regular safety-focused gadgets around. And it was footage from a dashcam posted on YouTube that helped the Police get to two motorists involved in a nasty road rage incident in Colorado Springs.
A delivery agent filmed the crucial moments of a road rage incident that turned into a nasty hit-and-run crash, thankfully not resulting in serious injuries. The witness posted the video on YouTube and from there, it wasn't too hard for the cops to make the two arrests.

The incident shows Mustang driver Brian Candelaria, 21, ramming into the side of 22-year-old motorcycle rider Bradley Skyler, sending him to crashing to the ground before taking off. Seconds before the ramming, Bradley can be seen driving his motorcycle parallel to the car, possibly talking to the driver. Both Candelaria and Skyler were arrested, the first facing suspicions of second-degree assault and harassment for the latter.

The driver whose dashcam recorded the incident, Joel Hartzell, declared that Bradley told him that the Mustang driver had run his girlfriend off the road previously, and that led to the pursuit and the subsequent crash.

We agree with the people in saying that the motorcycle rider was extremely lucky to walk away after being rammed into and flung off his bike. Also, it looks like the moderate speed at which the entire incident occurred also helped in Bradley not sustaining severe injuries.

Even though we don't condone with chasing cars and all the jazz that comes with such things, we hope that Candelaria is punished severily. With no immediate danger or life-threatening situations, drivers have absolutely no justification to ram into motorcyclists, as it's more than often when such mindless maneuvers end up with nasty injuries and even deaths.
