January 2014 was a good month for the 2014 Ford Mustang, which sold 3,881 units, an eight percent increase compared to the same month last year.
However, Ford's pony was outsold by the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, with GM delivering 4,733 examples, which translate into a four percent year-over-year decrease. January 2014 was even worse for the Dodge Challenger, which recorded a 30 percent drop with 2,458 units sold.

One year deliveries are now at 80,375 units for the Chevrolet Camaro, while Ford delivered 77,459 vehicles. Chrysler's Dodge Challenger is way behind with 50,423 examples.

Last year, the Chevrolet Camaro has an US market share of 38.5 percent, while the Ford Mustang grabbed 36.9 percent of total sales. Finally, the Dodge Challenger settled for 24.6 percent.
