The phrase “swan song” is a metaphor that describes a final effort before death or retirement. This saying refers to the belief people had that swans were actually mute, and that they would let out a beautiful song right before giving their last breath.
Of course this is not true, and so is the belief that you can’t improve on perfection. The last edition of the Lamborghini Murcielago was this, the LP670-4 Super Veloce, a car people could scarcely believe when it came out. Here was a Murcielago that was not only 30 hp more powerful, but also lighter and more aerodynamic.

It’s almost perfect, yet the guys at PUR Wheels made it better by fitting it with a set of their 6IX Monoblock rims, finished in Rose Gold. They just seem to pop out from the white body, creating the impression of an almost unobtainable car.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
