The stealth fighter that is the Aventador LP 700-4 has made us forget all about te Murcielago, which went out of production in 2011. But a decade after we first saw the wedge shaped now classic supercar, it’s time to re-familiarize ourselves with the 6.2-liter soul of the Lamborghini we know as the LP620.
That’s because Japanese tuner Gallant Abflug (?) has promised to show a body kit for the Murcielago at a major show next year. As our readers will be able to see in the photos below, the kit is made up of a new front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, diffuser and upper wing.
The 6.2-liter engine in the early 2001 Murcielago was supposed to make 580 horsepower in factory form, but thanks to a custom exhaust system, they got it to 620, which isn’t bad.
The other major visible change is a set of Abflug Prism III wheels, sized 19-inch at the front and 20-inch at the back, wrapped at all corners by the latest Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires.
