In other words, it has become easier than ever to create an accurate image of the Bentley of your dreams using a complex yet friendly digital application. Any interior or exterior detail and all the optional content can be elaborated and configured remotely.
In historical terms, the coachbuilding business established by Henry Jervis Mulliner in the 1850s in Liverpool and later transformed into Mulliner Park Ward after the 1961 merger with Park Ward, closed in 1991. After that, the Mulliner name was given a new purpose as the commissioning department of the current Bentley Motors carmaker.
Starting today, using the Bentley Mulliner Visualiser digital application, any potential Bentley customer may start his or her own virtual quest for that very special Bentley they have been dreaming of. However, it must be said that they still have to stick to what the Mulliner portfolio includes. Nevertheless, there is an overwhelming spectrum of possible choices. During the process, the client is assisted by the retailer or even by Bentley’s own Mulliner designers.
The Mulliner Visualiser can produce images of the customized design chosen by the customer in real-time. Everything looks perfectly realistic, even if the customer spontaneously creates his own color blend for, let’s say, the leather upholstery. Thanks to the application's abilities, the reference code generated for this creation can be sent directly to the craftspeople of Bentley Mulliner.
Concerning the exterior personalization experience, the debut of the Mulliner Visualiser is backed by an effort coming from the factory as Bentley has just introduced 26 additional colors to choose from. That said, there are now 86 different exterior shades in the Mulliner register, and Bentley’s personal commissioning division can color-match any virtual sample using an innovative color recognition software. The customer should be seriously concerned only about the color calibration of his own device's screen.
