Mud isn't the first choice for a fun source when it comes to people, at least not if it doesn't involve bikinis and wrestling. Yet, for the fans of quad and motocross races, mud is the eternal companion.
While a lot of the cafe racers would look a bit worried at the guys laughing in the movie, I'd say that any motorcyclist should at least try this kind of extreme riding once or twice. If there's one thing mud teaches a rider, it's the fact that nobody is skilled enough.
Taking a look at some motocross or quad races it might seem like everything is nice and easy, and if we just take the mud off, everything looks like any casual ride or race. Well, that's exactly why I was mentioning trying some mud once in a while... because things are not easy at all, no matter how natural they might look from a far.
Even more, all the guys I know mentioned that trying some of this has finally made them better riders and were willing to try it again. As for the laughs, it seems only natural: there is no difference whatsoever between being soaked in mud from soles to the waist and being soaked in mud from soles to the tip of your helmet. So instead of complaining, you'd better enjoy it!
