MTM's latest offering is a mildly tuned Volkswagen Golf Mk7 in R flavor, which offers 60 horsepower and 70 Nm (51 lb-ft) over the standard R's 300 horsepower and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque.

As for the "incredibly fast road machines" part, MTM's newest model accelerates 0.7 seconds faster than the factory Golf R fitted with the DSG double-clutch gearbox. 0 to 62 mph (0 - 100 km/h) is achievable in only 4.2 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h (155 mph), the same as the standard model.

These stats are possible thanks to a MTM M-Cantronic ECU unit, which costs €2,055 ($2,850 at current rates) and can be fitted in just an hour and a half. The car you can admire in the photo gallery below also benefits from the addition of 380x34 mm eight-piston front brakes, which retail for €5,115 ($7,091) plus €367 ($509) install fee.

MTM can further spice up the Mk7 VW Golf R with the addition of 19-inch Nardo alloy wheels sporting Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber measuring 235/35 ZR 19 and a sports exhaust system with four tailpipes.

All in all, this sporty MTM tuning package will cost you €54,875 ($76,069) including the vehicle.
