MTM S5 Cabrio Michelle Edition Revealed

It has been a while since we heard of the tuners at MTM, but the waiting has paid off. The guys have recently revealed a special edition of their the MTM’s classic program for Audi S5 Cabrio, dubbed the Michelle Edition, that brings modifications to the engine electronics, suspensions, brakes and wheels.

Additionally, the special edition tuning program also has a few body elements highlighted in red, as it can be seen in the pictures below.

The S5 Cabrio ”Michelle Edition” has been fitted with MTM’s exclusive 9-spoke Bimoto MTM rims in 10.5 x 21’’ with 295/25 21 Michelin tires. Furthermore, the car is upgraded with a handmade MTM exhaust system for maximum flow-rate and efficiency and 380 X 34 mm MTM-Brembo brakes with 8 piston calipers.

As we said, the MTM team also worked on upgrading the engine’s performances. Therefore, the special edition S5 Cabrio’s 3.0 TFSI V6 engine is equipped with both M-Cantronic and V-Cantronic units, which raises the performance numbers up to 430 hp (317 kW) and 515 Nm maximum torque with a top speed of 287 km/h.

Pricing for the engine upgrades range from 800 to 3,075 Euros (for the 430 horsepower M-Cantronic version). However, the 125 Euros installation cost is the same for all versions. Unfortunately, the overall pricing of the Michelle Edition package has not been announced yet.

The Audi S5 Cabriolet has been officially displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, alongside the A5 Cabriolet model. Both models are particularly addressed to the European market, with North America to receive the same good-looking models but featuring less engine options.
