MTM Reaches New Heights at Nardo High Speed Test

The world of tuning includes some stunning creations that redefine notions like power, acceleration and speed. Playing with words like these is one of the aftermarket developers' favorite game. And when we're talking about a company like Motoren Technik Mayer (MTM), we can only expect the speedometer to go wild, reaching figures that were previously only dreamed of.

At the end of last month, we reported that the German tuner had taken part in the 2010 Nardo High Speed Test. The tuner celebrated 20 years of presence on the tuning scene during the event, so it had to come with something special.

And that's what the aftermarket developer did, as it brought three vehicles to the km/h battle. The company came to the battle with three soldiers that show no mercy when it comes to fighting enemies like wind resistance. We are talking about the MTM RS6 Clubsport, the MTM R8 V10 Bi-Turbo and the MTM TT-RS.

Now, the company is offering us the performance figures achieved by its creations. To be more specific, it is now time to find out the top speeds achieved by the three modified vehicles.

We'll start with the tuner's champion, the MTM RS6 Clubsport, which managed to take the game up to 362.5 km/h (225.2 mph). The MTM R8 was also manhandled during the event and responded by reaching a top speed of 347.6 km/h (216mph).

As for the MTM TT RS, this didn't give up fighting until it hit 312 km/h (194 mph). Feel free to think about putting any of these monsters through their paces whenever you need something to make you happy.
