MTM at the Nardo 2010 High Speed Test

We’re always fascinated by the things that happen in the tuning world during performance testing events and MTM has offered us a true reason to celebrate. Motoren Technik Mayer (yes, we know, some of you have a crush on German tuners' names - this is why we mention the full name of the aftermarket developer) has taken part in the Nardo 2010 High Speed Test.

The company has used to occasion to celebrate its 20th anniversary. We consider this as being a birthday gift that the tuner has offered itself. You have to agree that anniversary events don’t get much cooler than this.

The company just couldn’t decide what performed to send to this speed battle so it chose to bring three cars to the event. We are talking about three machines that manage to deliver a cocktail of intoxicating driving sensations, taking their drivers (passengers receive a pretty nice treatment too) to another world: the MTM TT-RS, MTM RS6 Clubsport and the MTM R8 V10 Bi-Turbo.

We’re particularly interested in the last, as this currently comes in a prototype form, allowing the driver to play with no less than 777 hp.

Of course, when describing such a speed crusade, every is interested to see the exact figures. A virtual sheet of paper describing the four-wheeled creations’ performance using exact numbers. Unfortunately, the tuning company hasn’t offered us this goodies. This means that we still have enough time to dream about what happened there before we receive the official figures.
