Having Rowan Atkinson, the British comedian that played famous Mr. Bean character, driving an Audi A1 seems more like a joke than the actual fact, considering the type of cars the famous celebrity owns. He was driving the economic car with his wife in London, a couple a days ago, and we have to admit, we're surprized.
Rowan Atkinson is known to be a car lover and one of those ones who likes them fast and expensive. Take his gleaming two-seater Mercedes Benz SLS, that needs 3.6 seconds to get to the 60 mph mark, or his famous McLaren F1 he bought in 1993, which doesn’t need any description.
The millionaire was recently spotted driving an Audi A1 in London, along his wife. Strange enough to believe, but it’s not the first time the actor is seen driving the “normal ones”. The Skoda Superb Atkinson he drove in a trip to the shops, last year, would count for one of those examples.
Now let’s just go back to his one of those 64 ever made McLaren F1’s. In case you forgot, the actor actually managed to crash it twice, the second time being pretty serious. It was three years ago, when he crashed the beast into a tree and the vehicle burst into flames.
At the time, most of the world’s newspapers had at least one story covering the news when the insurance company decided it will pay $1.44 million (€ 1.68 million) to the actor.
