Motorhead's Late Iconic Frontman Lemmy Receives GTA V Custom Bike Tribute

GTA V modders pay tribute to Lemmy Kilmister using a unique mod that introduces custom motorcycles, smoking, drinking, scantily clad ladies (because we can't use the "w" word), and more elements that have been associated with the great musician.

It doesn't take to be a metalhead to know something about the legendary band Motorhead and its iconic frontman, Lemmy Kilmister. You just name any figure in music in the 20th century and Motorhead are on par with it.

The mod was made by Christian Brandes, FunGt and jedijosh920, using additional work by Davide Violante, and offers gamers the chance to play GTA V in Lemmy's boots. The mod also includes a custom motorcycle worthy of being in the collection of any major rockstar, and an outfit that matches Lemmy's style, with tall boots, jeans, a black shirt and his famous cavalry hat.

GTA V is not a politically-correct game, and Lemmy was no saint, either

Drinking and smoking animations are, of course, on the menu, and they can be triggered pressing Shift+0 (or is that an O?) and Shift+K, respectively. Pick a guitar and rock out by pressing Shift+L, and try not to be too picky (pun intended).

Sure, Lemmy's iconic Rickenbacker bass guitar would have looked much better, even though spawning some amps would have also been necessary. Likewise, Motorhead fans will surely argue about replacing Lemmy's eternal Jack bottle with one that looks like a PET soda canister...

Finally, in case you feel lonely in the game, the creators of the Lemmy mod have a solution for you. All you have to do is use the Shift+H combination to summon... ladies.

And since it's about gaming, what better words than Lemmy's "Born to lose, lived to win" epitaph?
