Motorcycle Seats Do Not Make Men Impotent

Motorbikes might be fun to drive but a 2005 Japanese study blames men's impotence on their hard seats suggesting motorcycle vibration could be the cause of this problem.

Yet, due to limited information, further studies must be conducted to actually prove motorbikes are to be blamed for the bikers' erectile dysfunction, said patent-granted author Randall Dale Chipkar. Certainly impotence can be caused by a variety of factors, including lifestyle habits.

As a matter of fact, subtle groin vibrations increase the blood flow and are supposed to stimulate the tissues. Therefore, vibration of regular motorbike seats are not causing any damage to penile nerves. The pelvis and perineum are designed for prolonged sitting  and any eventual discomfort can be walked off without sustaining biological harm or compromised blood flow.

However, most motorbikes have electrical components beneath the seat and therefore, extremely low frequency electromagnetic field (ELF EMF) radiation passes through the seat penetrating into the rider's groin. Electromagnetic radiation can disrupt zinc ions which are supposed to be the cause of impotence and erectile dysfunction. In addition, it seems that excessive electromagnetic radiation can compromise electromagnetic homeostasis involving neuron function, hormone imbalance and adrenal fatigue all linked to impotence and libido loss.

"I discovered up to 500 milliGauss of ELF EMF radiation above motorcycle seats zapping the prostate. In contrast, many doctors raise cancer concerns involving 3 to 5 milliGauss of ELF EMF exposure from hydro tower power lines and other sources," explained Chipkar adding that on his website “doctors prove ELF EMF danger. Impotence, erectile dysfunction, infertility, sterility, prostatitis, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) are linked not to motorcycle seats but what's 'rising up' through them."

As a result, Chipkar is now making a worldwide campaign to enhance the motorcycle industry keep riders safer.
