Each annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis is a great occasion for few select members of the biking community to be introduced into the Hall of Fame. One of the individuals who made it into this prestigious group is Russ Brown, motorcycle lawyer.
Russ Brown, a bike enthusiast himself ever since school, has been a most active presence in the world of motorcycling as an ardent supporter and advocate for rider's rights and freedoms. For 35 years, Russ Brown fought to enhance the image of motorcycle riders, knowing that a poor image could and would lead to mistreatment, even more prejudice, over-zealous prosecution and even unfair laws.

As one of the founding members of the Motorcycle Rights Foundation, Russ Brown was also one of the major financial contributors to the organization and also served on the board of directors of the ABATE of California.

Even though he stood up for those against helmet laws and many will disagree with this, Russ Brown still remains one of the undisputed champions of biker rights. He's also the creator of the recent "Keep Me Alive Don't Text & Drive" campaign.
