The provisional calendar for MotoGP tests has been announced, with few changes over the previous ones. So far only the "winter" testing was scheduled, with more dates to be made available later.
As the new season officially begins on the very next day after the last race of 2013, meaning the Valencia rounds, the 2014 MotoGP season will kick off with a 3-day official test. However, the Valencia post-race test will be reserved to premiere class machinery, with no feeder Moto2 and Moto3 categories allowed.
Several teams in these two categories announced they'll be running private tests in November at Jerez and Almeria.
There will be no tests in December and January, making the first 2014 outing at Sepang one event both teams and riders will be looking forward to.
At the moment of writing there is no info on whether the official test will include the two new tacks in Argentina and Brazil.
