MotoGP: Suzuki Wants Crutchlow and Espargaro

Suzuki Wants Crutchlow 1 photo
It looks like things are beginning to look a bit clearer, as Suzuki starts making plans for their 2014 comeback to MotoGP: since Pol Espargaro, one of the riders they wanted badly was stolen by Yamaha Tech3 and will receive a factory M1, the Hamamatsu guys went for his brother Aleix, as the second potential rider, alongside Randy de Puniet.

However, it's Cal Crutchlow who seems to be the #1 choice for Suzuki: his contract with Tech3 ends this season, he is indeed looking for a factory bike and a team which actually does R&D for it, and most of all, he has showed some awesome riding during the first three rounds of the present season.

Solomoto adds that Cal has serious plans for moving to Italy, conveniently close to where Suzuki plans to settle their headquarters. Seeing Crutchlow being so determined and riding so fast, restrained only by the very limits of his actual Tech3 machine, we're so looking forward to witness more awesomeness from him aboard a factory bike.

Randy de Puniet will be flying to Japan the week after the Le Mans round, for his first encounter with the Factory Suzuki. More info on the Suzuki MotoGP operations coming soon.
