Moto Wheels' Custom Ducati Sport 1000

Here's one really nice piece of custom work done by Moto Wheels on a 2006 Ducati Sport 100, and transforming the already nice bike into a really wonderful piece of motor-art.

Since Moto Wheels are dealing with all sorts of custom and aftermarket parts for all sorts of bikes, having the niftiest ones at hand directly could only mean an excellent end result. The bike got a Ducati Performance ECU to match the new Corse Dynamics Performance intake kit and the full Zard exhaust system, and a new Moto Wheels slipper clutch was also installed.

Since the clutch is a dry one, Speedymoto open clutch cover, belt and sprockets were also loaded on the Sport 1000 for a truly aggressive “very naked” bike look. Billet aluminium parts replaced the stock pegs, shifter and rear brake. Speaking of the shifter, the Moto Wheels Ducati Sport 1000 comes with a GP-inspired reversed shifting scheme, 1st up and the rest down.

Ohlins forks and rear shock now hold the BST carbon fiber wheels on the ground and race-approved radial Brembo brakes now squeeze hard on the Brake Teck rotors. The bike's already been sold to a lucky rider, but we don't know the price. We'll let you know more if it gets spotted on the sunny roads of California.
