Created by a long-time motorcycle rider and cyclist, the Moto-Skiveez incorporate technology used in the padded cycling shorts industry, adapted to the specific needs of a motorcycle rider. The big leap was made when creator Shawn Lupcho teamed up with Italian company TMF and started to map out the hot spots, pressure points and high-stress contact areas between a rider’s behind and the seat of his motorcycle.

Thermal imaging and sensors have created accurate maps of what is actually happening during a ride from the point of view of the forces, Gs, friction, heat build-up and other similar phenomena.

The result of the research transformed into three different paddings for three major types of motorcycles and riding styles: sport, adventure and cruiser, each with its uniquely-tailored solution to all the problems which cause discomfort and fatigue. Different shapes and densities tailor the comfort zones according to each riding position’s particularities, with focus on the most stressed ones.

The pads are seamlessly integrated into the fabric of the undergarment, itself an advanced item. With two types of fabric, the Moto-Skiveez allows increased breathability and moisture management (wicking). Both boast tactile softness, are anti-bacterial thanks to silver ion treatment and machine washable for flawless convenience.

Moto-Skiveez are now available in sizes S through XXL, for $59.95 directly from the manufacturer and they might be just the thing that was missing from your bike-related closet.
