If you feel like really standing from the crowd, here’s a really nifty Moto Guzzi for you, the V7 Racer Verde Legnano SE. That is, if you’re not uncomfortable with riding a bike with bright colors, evoking the races of yore and oozing personality and a massive head-turning effect.
The Moto Guzzi V7 Racer Verde Legnano SE pays tribute to the ’71 Telaio Rossi V7 Sport, a bike among the first 5 to deliver 120 mph (193 km/h) top speed. The iconic racing red frame was replicated as homage to the 150 Telaio Rosso machines which were initially designed by Lino Tonti. Arguably one of the most beautiful Guzzi’s ever built, the spirit of the Telaio Rosso now lives again thanks to the V7 Racer Verde Legnano SE.

A treat limited to the North American market

Many will hate Moto Guzzi because this special edition V7 will only be sold stateside, but you know what they say: you just can’t have them all, and Europeans do get exclusive machinery pretty often. Technically the bike is identical to the rest of the V7 machines, packing a modest 50hp at 6,200 rpm and 44.2 lb-ft (60 Nm) at 2,800. The v-twin is fed through a Weber-Marelli injection and is mated to a dry clutch, 5-speed transmission and shaft drive.

Cue in Marzocchi forks, remote reservoir Bitubo rear shocs, Brembo stopping power and anodized aluminium wheels, plus a limited edition tan leather seat adding to the bold palette of the bike. Moto Guzzi will let you have the V7 Racer Verde Legnano SE for $10,999 (€10,140). Make up your mind if you want to have one as only 50 will be available.
