Filippo Barbacane is well-known among the Moto Guzzi fans, as his creations bearing the Officine Rossopuro badge are always stunning, to say the least. Here's one more custom machine from Filippo, the TTre, a road racer brought to new shiny glory.
The TTre is based on a Moto Guzzi 850 T3, and was changed almost entirely, from the finish and bodywork to essential parts, such as the front end and brakes.
The original 850 T3 proudly displayed lush chrome details, and Barbacane took good care of this detail: the exhaust pipes now sparkle to complement the polished heads and together with the custom conical dual silencers, they are exhibiting both retro glory and impeccable craftsmanship.
The OEM fork was tossed and replaced with a 45mm Marzocchi, and the TTre received Borrani rims. Brembo discs came in place, too: dual 320mm for the front and a single 300mm in the rear. Filippo also manufactured custom bodyparts and had them painted in a mellow two-tone scheme evoking the glorious past bikes.
Controls were replaced with aluminium ones for a lighter build and better looks. All the aluminium parts have indeed been carefully polished for a top-notch look. The Officine Rossopuro TTre looks retro and yet with a somewhat modern attire, and we're positive its new Italian owner is enjoying every mile riding it.
