Mosley Announces Great Revelations in His Book

Max Mosley may be stepping down from his position as president of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) this October, but he is likely to start a new storm in Formula One in the year to come. As promised following his announcement that he'll retire from the FIA at the end of his current mandate, the 69-year old Englishman now confirmed that he will write a book as soon as possible.

Most likely, the book will include some valuable information about the famous sex scandal Mosley was involved in last year, mostly known in the motor racing world as the sex-gate. A few months after Mosley won his trial against the News of the World newspaper for disclosing images of him and some prostitutes during what seemed to be a Nazi-themed orgy, the FIA president hinted that the scandal was set off by someone who wanted to get back at him. For what, we don't know.

In addition, he said that he had all the information he needed to find out who was behind this story, but will disclose all of it “when the time is right.” Realizing the controversy he will start when disclosing those types of information, Mosley already advised his lawyers to be prepared.

“When I tell the truth, there are some people that will be very annoyed,” said Mosley in an interview with the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, while also revealing that “some top lawyers are likely to be put to work when the book is published,” as reported by the GMM news agency.

In addition, Mosley insisted that no matter who will succeed him at the helm of the FIA, conflict will always remain a variable in the world of Formula One. Neither Jean Todt, nor Ari Vatanen will be able to control the “egocentric people” in F1, argued Mosley.

“In this atmosphere - dominated by huge amounts of money and egocentric people - the FIA has to remain neutral and keep the balance of power. This is a thankless task of Herculean proportions,” added the FIA president.
