In most parts of the world, summer is almost over, astronomically speaking, This, however, doesn’t mean there aren’t a few good months of sunny days left to enjoy on good-old planet Earth.
With that in mind, the Morgan Motor Company announced a partnership deal with bicycle-builder Pashley Cycles, that will see the launch of a new line of hand-crafted frame bikes for those still planning to make the most of their summer.

The line of bikes will comprise two models, known as the Pashley-Morgan 3 and the Pashley-Morgan 8. As said, both will be hand-crafted, using Reynolds 631 tubing. Both will have frame mounted race plate, distinctive S-bend seat stays, and unique track ends with etched stainless faces. And both will be a tribute to Morgan’s racing heritage, says the company.

The Pashley-Morgan 3, painted in British Racing Green, features hand-stitched honey leather grips and Morgan aluminum end caps, a Brooks B17 saddle with walnut laminated wood veneer short mudguards and matching chainguard. This model will retail from £1,495.

Priced £100 above the price of the 3, the Pashley-Morgan 8 comes in light pearl grey and adds an 8 speed Shimano Nexus internal geared hub and a Shimano Nexus dynamo front hub.

Both bikes have become available for order starting last weekend, after they were presented at Morgan's Thrill on the Hill event

“People often refer to Pashley as the Morgan of the bicycle world, and so I am delighted that there is now a close collaboration between our two companies, manifested in the new Pashley-Morgan range of bicycles,” said in a statement Adrian Williams, Pashley Cycles managing director.

“Pashley and Morgan share many similarities including our unrivaled heritage, design innovation, and British craftsmanship and this is evidenced in the beautiful bicycles we have produced. These bicycles will appeal to Morgan car owners and discerning cyclists alike.”

As for more Morgan cars, no news from that front yet. Back in April, the company launched an outdoor advertising campaign in London, announcing that it will soon launch a range of new models, including the electric version of the 3 Wheeler.
