As we promised you few days ago, here are some live pictures of the sizzling hot Vardenchi T5, straight from India's 2014 Auto Expo unveiling in New Delhi.
Vardenchi is the collective name founder Akshai Varde and several buddies work under. Even though until now the vast majority of their bikes have been based on Royal Enfield engines, the T5 marks a bold step they took in the muscle bikes realm.
The T5 is built around a Moto Morini power plant, and comes with an exposed trellis frame and swingarm, both painted in fiery red and looking as sexy as it gets.
Even though the initial sketches showed a single reflector headlight, the final bike got a vertical array of two units, which makes the front end less compact but way more aggressive. The chin is also much different from the sketched one, and the actual shape integrates better with the build.
With retro, multi-spoked wheels harking back to the new Garwood ones, the Vardenchi T5 is even more intriguing, and in a good way.
Machined aluminium risers and foot controls are an area which can still benefit from some improvements, as they look a bit too rough, compared to the rest of the bike. However, the T5 is a sweet-looking machine, and it will be sold through The Moto Morini network in the Western markets.
The price is expected to be around the €18.940 ($25,595) mark.
Thanks to our buddy Faisal Khan for the photos.
