More Photos and Details on Kia No 3

One of the most exciting stands at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show is expected to be the one of Korean manufacturer Kia. The design of each and every one of its models brings a breeze fresh air; we are not outspoken fans of the brand, but the company really put some hard work into their concepts.

This is also obvious in the new Kia No 3 Concept, as we already hinted in our previous reports. The small multi-purpose vehicle is sightseeing oriented, as it features a unique extended windscreen and panorama glass roof with a diagonal supporting bar, an automatic sun visor. The manufacturer gave the car a look that sets it apart from its predecessors by fitting it with a new constellation brand logo.

The body of the concept, drawn at the Kia Design Centre in Frankfurt, is painted in matte titanium gray with contrasting gloss-white accents. Short overhangs accentuate the compact exterior dimensions of the car, which is further emphasized by the rear light cluster wrapped around the side panels.

Kia No 3 has typical MPV dimensions. It measures 2,615 mm in length, 1,600 mm in height and 1,760 mm in width. This makes No 3 a typical MPV class vehicle and allows for a somewhat large interior space.

Kia No 3 is the base for a future production model which will combine compact B segment exterior dimensions with the interior space more typical for a C segment car. The concept's name is related to the production car's position in the future Kia model line-up.

As we said, Kia will bring to Geneva a number of new and exciting vehicles. The Korean manufacturer's stand will host 20 vehicles, including the new Kia cee'd Idle Stop and Go.
