Over the weekend, we showed you the very first photos of the new Golf Variant, a handsome new estate that will make its first appearance at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
The official press kit could be released in a matter of hours, VW's first press conference being scheduled for 19:30 CET, but until then these are the only photos of the Golf Varant's interior.
The estate model is built on the same platform as the regular Golf. Not surprisingly, the interior is pretty much the same. The car in these photos seems to be in Highline trim, offering cruise control, a central armrest, Alcantara trim, the chrome interior package and a multifunctional steering wheel with control for the radio and phone. Cream leather, heated seats and Climatronic automatic climate control means his is a wonderful place to be in.
With the rear seats still in place, the Golf Variant should offer about 600 liters of cargo volume, but will easily take double that once the bench is folded.
