Moose Needs Traction Control on Moscow Ring Road

The lack of any sort of chicken wire fence around major roadways, especially highways, is a very dangerous game to play. Sure it`s cheaper not to fit any sort of fence, but the idea is that it stops animals from straying onto the road, and causing traffic disruptions, or even serious accidents.
The Moscow ring road is plagued by this problem, in a big way. Apparently, any sort of animals can make their way onto the high-speed roads, and cause panic among the drivers. Moose are big and very heavy animals, and if a car were to come in contact with one at high speed, the result would be horrifying.

Thankfully, this particular youngster gets lucky, as drivers spot it and are able to brake in time. This video also shows why hoofs do not offer particularly good traction on asphalt, as the moose falls several times as it struggles to find grip on the damp surface.
