Monster World Rally Team Reveals Car Livery for Ken Block in 2010

Following the announcement that Ken Block will debut in the World Rally Champion in 2010 on a part-time schedule, his team now released the first couple of photos of the North American racer's car livery for the upcoming season.

The newly formed Monster World Rally Team showed to the media two photos of Ken Block's Rally America Championship 'Open Class' Ford Fiesta, which will benefit from the same impressive livery that Block's Ford Focus will have in the WRC. The North American racer is due to contest in both the WRC and Rally America Championship through 2010, at the wheel of a Focus and Fiesta S2000 respectively.

As one can easily notice through these two photos, the car's livery for the upcoming season of Rally America Championship features the logo of the well-known Dirt2 video game, starring the very Ken Block. Alongside the obvious Monster logo on the car (with its black and green paint scheme), one can also notice an orange splash, near his competition number.

The splash is marked with the “DC” initials, which is the shoes company co-founded by Ken Block and Damon Way back in 1993. The American company is specialized in footwear for extreme sports (among other products).

According to the WRC official site, Block's car livery for the 2010 M-Sport-prepared Ford Focus WRC will have a similar livery to the one shown on the Fiesta. Block will contest in 7 rounds of the 2010 WRC programme, namely Mexico, Turkey, Portugal, Germany, France, Spain and Great Britain.

As for the Fiesta S2000 car, the machine will also be used through 6 rounds of the Rally America Championship by the same Block-Alex Gelsomino (co-driver) pair.
