If anybody made an international top of wheelstands, the US has to sit at number one. Go to any drag strip and when the serious metal comes into play, you'll enjoy plenty of air time. Nonetheless, when talking about monster trucks and muddy play, wheelstands are not exactly what you expect to see.
Nevertheless, today we come to give you just that - a monster truck playing the wheelstunt trick in mud so deep it could scare rhinos away. The feat took place at an event whose name is pretty much self explanatory: Iron Horse Mud Ranch.
The event, which has an annual character, saw contraptions that could very well belong in the Wacky Races series draw tons of attentions from the attenders. The Ford Bronco in the clip below doesn't have something all that special to show, at least not until the driver starts doing his thing.
In the purest redneck spirit, there's a passenger who enjoys a mud shower in the bed of the Bronco and the man seems to be enjoying himself. As you can see, this Ford was solidly converted, so its mechanical side can handle plenty of abuse. As a result, the driver pulls serious wheelstands.
As always with this kind of messy play, the bottom of the mud area is actually pretty solid, so the rear wheels enjoy plenty of grip to sustain the air time.
The play takes place in Perry, Florida and sees all sorts of machines get together for muddy good times. From two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive vehicles to ATVs, there's something in there for every taste.
