Modernized Lamborghini Countach Looks So Sleek, Has Gallardo Influences

Does the Lamborghini Countach need any extra design touches? Well, if you're willing to bring the 80s icon into our time, the answer is yes. And this is a pixel journey digital artist The Sketch Monkey has recently embarked on.

Now, as those of you tuned into our #SpeedShot tales (check out the tag below) might have noticed, we've discussed this topic last month.

However, the pixel master had only redone the back of the car in September and he's now back to take care of the front end.

We're looking at the same 5000S model, which did away with the simple styling cues of the original Lamborghini Countach, adding the aero elements required by the funky 80s. Speaking of which, here's a tale following the rebirth of a crashed Countach P400 Periscopio - having been ordered for the Emir of Qatar back in the 70s, this Blu Turchese example (the color makes it a one-off) was crashed by another memeber of the Al-Thani family and is now back in Italy for a complete restoration.

Of course, the artist introduced visual elements inspired from other Raging Bull models, but these had to fit the style of the V12 supercar.

As such, we can mention the Gallardo, whose influences can be seen on the front apron and the side mirrors, as well as the Veneno, with the latter having influenced the new headlights of the Countach.

Now, for those of you happen to be in a hurry, the screenshots in the gallery above will do the trick, Then again, those of you who are willing to check out all the steps of the transformation, should make sure to head over to the video below. As a bonus, the artist has studied in Italy, so he knows his Sant'Agata Bolognese machine nameplate pronunciation.
