Modernized Bugatti EB110 Looks Subtle, Has Hidden Air Channels

While nobody questioned Bugatti's choice of bringing the EB110 back under the spotlights via the introduction of the Centodieci earlier this year, here's an example that shows just how brilliant to move was: the newcomer landed at Pebble Beach in August and, despite the fact that we're now in October, social media continues to come up with renderings portraying the EB110.

Of course, we're talking about the kind of pixel play that shows a remastered incarnation of the 90s icon. Nevertheless, this isn't an issue. And that's because Rostislav Prokop, the digital artist behind the work, seems to have worn white gloves while working on this, such is the delicacy of the aero tweaks applied to the quad-turbo monster.

As hinted by the intakes behind the side windows, for instance, we're looking at the SS, not the GT incarnation of the EB110, so things were rather fierce to start with.

I have to admit that the widebody take presented here is one of the most subtle I've seen to date. And the rear fenders seem to channel the air behind closed doors, as it happens with the McLaren 720S, for instance.

Of course, since aero plays such an important role nowadays, both in terms of going fast and looks, this Bug packs all the right stuff, such as the lip spoiler or the dive planes.

If we head over to the posterior of the velocity machine (make sure to use the swipe feature of the Instagram post below, okay?), the center piece seems to be the quadruple exhaust - hey, this makes for twice as many tailpipes compared to the original.

And the new shoes of the Bugatti EB110? Perfectly fitting for the brand. However, it's worth noting that the tiny ground clearance brings a serious contribution to the poised look of the machine.
